On Monday, the tribunal heard call records and information obtained from phones recorded Ms Wandelt repeatedly demanding Madeleine's mother for a biological test throughout the past two years.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - when she was three years old during a vacation in Portugal - is one of the most covered child disappearance cases and continues to be unresolved.

'I Am Not Seeking Money'

A separate phone message, shared in court, recorded Ms Wandelt declaring: "I realize I'm fat and plain like Madeleine used to be, but I believe what I know."

While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's answerphone stated: "Imagine there is a small chance that I am she? What then? Is that not important for you?"

"I don't want money, I have a life here in Poland, I just want to discover," the message continued.

The tribunal was told that via electronic messages, mobile messages and calls, Ms Wandelt requested a biological test, transmitted early photographs to her phone in a bid to show a similarity to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and claimed to have "memories" from a youth with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, an investigator with the police force who collated the evidence, told the court there "seemed to lack any responses" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt additionally contacted family friends of the McCanns, based on the communication logs.

On October 9th, 2024, Mr McCann answered a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, stating she had "a wrong number."

On that occasion Ms Wandelt recorded a voicemail on Mrs McCann's voicemail stating "I will persist and I will prove my position."

The court learned the co-defendant developed a association via internet with Ms Wandelt before joining her on a visit to the McCanns' residence in Leicestershire in December 2024.

Communication data revealed Mrs Spragg had reached out via WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to state the press had characterized Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she should be considered genuine in the time before the trip to Rothley, that area, in December 2024.

The court learned correspondence between the two accused, in last November, discussing attempting to obtain Mrs McCann's biological evidence from her garbage or from utensils at a eating establishment.

"We have to make a stand," Mrs Spragg informed Ms Wandelt.

On the occasion of the visit to their home, the defendant transmitted a message which said: "We are sitting adjacent to the McCanns' home with our headlights off like investigators. I had hoped to achieve this with another person I hadn't anticipated I would be involved in this with the McCanns."

The proceedings ongoing.
